Kenson Highways is proud to share that the Enfield Town to Broxbourne Walking and Cycling Route has been highly commended in the Collaboration Partnership category at the LCRIG Strictly Highways Awards.
The recognition highlights the strength of partnership working involved in delivering this important active travel scheme on behalf of Enfield Council, as well as the collective commitment to creating safer, more sustainable transport infrastructure for local communities.
The project provides a vital north–south walking and cycling corridor through Enfield, creating one of the few safe and accessible active travel connections leading out of London. Designed to encourage healthier and more sustainable journeys, the route supports improved connectivity for residents, commuters and visitors while helping to reduce reliance on car travel.
The success of the scheme reflects the value of collaboration between all organisations involved in the project. Through strong partnership working, shared expertise and a collective vision, the team has delivered infrastructure that will provide long-term benefits to the borough and its communities.
