Team Kenson Highways recently took on the Nuclear Race Challenge — and what an incredible experience it proved to be.
With 21 team members participating in the event and more than 30 people attending overall, including family, friends and supporters, the day was a fantastic display of teamwork, determination and company spirit. From the moment the challenge began, the atmosphere was filled with energy, encouragement and plenty of laughter as colleagues worked together to tackle every obstacle along the course.
One of the standout aspects of the day was seeing employees from across all departments within Kenson Highways come together outside of the workplace to support one another and strengthen relationships. The event provided an excellent opportunity for colleagues to connect, challenge themselves and demonstrate the teamwork and resilience that underpin our day-to-day operations.
The course itself certainly tested participants, featuring muddy obstacles, icy water crossings and physically demanding challenges throughout. Despite the tough conditions, the team embraced every moment with positivity, determination and a great sense of humour, making it a memorable and rewarding experience for everyone involved.
Events such as the Nuclear Race Challenge are a great reminder of the importance of collaboration, team spirit and supporting one another — values that remain central to the culture at Kenson Highways.
We would like to thank everyone who took part, supported the team and helped make the day such a success. It was a fantastic achievement and another great example of the strong team culture that exists across the business.
Here’s to more challenges — and more mud — in the future.
