RDC Phase 5 Successfully Completed: A Key Milestone for Newham’s Road Network

Kenson Highways is proud to announce the successful completion of Phase 5 of the RDC project, marking another significant step forward in improving local infrastructure across the borough of Newham.

With the final 700 tonnes of asphalt now laid, this phase of the project has been fully delivered. The works represent a major milestone in our ongoing efforts to provide safer, smoother, and more accessible roads for all road users — from pedestrians and cyclists to motorists and public transport services.

Delivering High-Quality Infrastructure

Phase 5 has focused on strengthening and upgrading key sections of the road network, helping to improve surface quality, durability, and long-term performance. The completed works will support smoother journeys, reduce maintenance needs, and enhance overall road safety for the community.

Projects of this scale rely on strong collaboration, and the successful delivery of Phase 5 reflects the dedication, expertise, and teamwork shown throughout the programme. From planning and logistics through to surfacing and final finishes, every stage has played a crucial role in achieving a high-quality result.

Supporting Growth in Newham

The completion of Phase 5 also supports the continued growth and regeneration of Newham, ensuring the road network is fit for purpose now and in the future. By investing in resilient infrastructure, we are helping to create streets that better serve residents, businesses, and visitors alike.

We would like to thank everyone involved in the RDC project for their hard work, cooperation, and commitment in reaching this important milestone.

Looking Ahead

As one phase concludes, our focus now turns to the next stage of delivery. At Kenson Highways, we remain committed to building better infrastructure together, delivering projects that make a lasting, positive impact on the communities we serve.

Stay tuned for further updates as the RDC project continues to progress.
